What would we ever do without our silly precious pets to cheer us up? 

If you own a pet, you already know how much they can brighten your life. Your pet always wants to see you, because you're their favorite person. Your cat probably wants to snuggle 24/7 because they're obsessed with you. Your dog probably always wants to play catch or snore loudly next to you on the couch. And, as you'll definitely know if you've had a pet, they are not always the brightest bulbs. 

Some animals are really, really intelligent. Others can come from the exact same shelter (or litter, even) and be as dumb as a bag of rocks. You look at that sweet soft pet and realize, there is nothing going on in that brain of theirs. Not a single thought. Just chilling out, wondering when their next meal is. It can really bring you a sense of peace to know that even in this chaotic world of ours, your pet knows nothing about all that. All they know is that you're their whole world.
